[Well, this is happening. He's pretty ticked off about it, but he's accepted the situation. Which means the next step is to find any allies he might have around here and gather information. Unfortunately...he's assuming this network is monitored by Astoria, so he can't exactly speak freely.]

i see. i guess we should keep up with lessons? because if we dont were going to fall behind and then its going to be hard to catch up without our quirks. do you know english? can you teach us english?
or math? oh man thats really a lot for one person to know. and youre really only supposed to be our homeroom teacher so its not like youd need to know any of that

i don't exactly have textbooks at my disposal, but i can speak english well enough

we'll double up on combat training in the meantime so you and bakugo can skip those lessons to make up your other subjects when we get back

[He won't admit it but...he's very concerned about when that will be, honestly.]

what if its something thats no good for combat?

as i've said before, a good hero doesn't rely on only one trick
there's a reason i learned how to use the capture cloth

[It's not as though his own quirk wouldn't have been better suited to a support role, after all.]

i know youre right sensei. its just that... i only recently got a handle on my current quirk and if theyre totally different i might end up behind even we get back

first of all, it's too early to assume this is permanent
second, adapting to a new quirk doesn't negate the combat experience and instincts you've already gained
you recently shifted your combat style to take the pressure off your arms, didn't you?
even if you face another shift, i have no doubts in your abilities to adjust efficiently

[This is the kid who's been proving him wrong about his potential from day one, after all. In this, he'd even consider Midoriya to be in a better position than Bakugo, with all his natural power and talent.]

[Aizawa is right. And it's enough to snap him out of the anxiety spiral that had been starting spinning and consuming him. Take it slow, Izuku, breathe. This feels a lot harder than coming up with Shoot Style but that doesn't mean he can't. And it just means that as usual, he'll have to work harder than almost anyone else. He can do that.]
