[Maes is pretty sure there wasn't much trust even before that. But Roy has a point. If it was difficult to trust her before, then the current state she is in certainly isn't helping matters.

Getting people to cooperate has always been our challenge here. Picking out leadership is going to be even more difficult because we probably have a lot of people who could take charge, but due to the fluctuation of people coming and going we lack a stable system to build around. What if we find people to lead and then a few weeks later they vanish? Not to mention the fact that as we get new arrivals they aren't necessarily going to be keen to follow.

It's all a mess is what it is. But I guess we have to start somewhere. Maybe as we're organizing all this things might fall into place a little more clearly.
