[ it's not any kind of special ability, per say. but riza has a handle on surrounds. had a tendency to be able to see, or sense, things as they happen - no matter (really) how cloaked or in shadow they may be. she was (is) a fairly good shot, and can generally tell when someone is sneaking up on her. twice as well, here, considering how on edge she's been since they first arrived.

so it's not a comment on inej's ability per say, that riza can tell something is off when inej enters the room. it's definitely not her ability not working, either, because riza has no idea what it is that has entered the room. all she knows is that she is just a bit off from it, reorganizing one of the kits, when she gets the feeling and tenses, hand slowly moving to her gun.

her mind goes first to the monster down below, and then second to anything else. it is only when her eyes follow the feeling, scanning over the room, that she sees the girl (a girl) appear near one of the tables. the tension leaves her almost instantly as riza stands, watching the girl look over the table, the materials. she's gathering for...something, that's the first thing riza notices, so after a second or two- ]
