I asked her that...it's how I got this information. Unfortunately it seems it's on us to ask follow up questions and try to get more information out of her. I've learned my lesson on that now and I'm going to do my best in future world hops to inquire a bit more. It's difficult in that I might not think of a good question to press on until we're already arrived and by then it's too late. What Astoria finds useful and what might actually be useful are very different things after all.

Even so...we can only prepare for so much. There's always going to be something we're not going to think of until we're in the moment. That's just the nature of things.

It is...but I know I'm not the only one missing family. I actually consider myself pretty lucky that I have the pictures. It's why I thought it might be nice to share them. If she's cheering me on that means she's also cheering everyone else on to help her daddy out.

[He knows that isn't actually the case, but if it's what gets him through the tough times then does it really matter? Besides, if she DID know this was what her daddy was doing he knows she would be.]
