hey! i've been wondering something recently!

i spoke to a guy who's met aliens and fought them, and i realize that i havent had a chance to ask everybody! where do you all come from? what's your world like?

its probably kinda boring to ask at this point but i don't really know a lot of you and i bet you've all got really cool stories to tell!

also if anyones not busy, i wanna mess around with my magic some more

Well, I come from Earth, but I'm betting most people will say the same thing. That's the trouble with the multiverse— everything is just... normal for the people from that Earth.

But I'm from the United States. Do you have that in your world?

of course i do! that one's not that strange

i mean yeah earth is normal, but theres gotta be someones earth that ISNT normal! thats the point of the multiverse isnt it?

I don't know if it's the point but yeah, they're all pretty different. I've been to a few, besides this one. Different timelines, too.

okay but yeah i travel through time. The different earths thing was a one off. or a few off. whatever.

thats still pretty good though! an actual time traveler! hey, what's the best place you've traveled to so far?

gaia! that even sounds really magical. what was it like?

yeah! i thought it was that i could just make things bigger and smaller, but i'm still learning more about what i can do! i wound up getting an apple to bounce for a while and it took me a while to get it to stop.

oh, i'm from normal earth too. there's nothing special about it, i just went to high school and looked for kappas and santa. never found anything until recently!

At this point I guess anyone who's been here awhile has fought aliens. Technically, if you consider the people in other worlds aliens.

But anyway, what kind of magic did you end up with?

my world seems pretty normal? modern, we have cities and roads and cars and all of that, but we also have wild beasts that make travel a little dangerous sometimes.

what kind of magic did you get though?

i havent yet, i havent even seen another world yet!

i can change things! like the weight and size and stuff of random objects!

Most people only travel one direction but sure, why not.

Best place? That's a hard one. It'd be pretty lame to say my original time, huh.

My world's pretty normal aside from the people in it.

[And the little detail of immortals and demons existing. But a guy with shark teeth and a tattooed cannibal come to mind just as readily as anomalies.]

hmm, that's kinda normal itself though! i mean you're bound to have some weirdos around wherever you go

wild beasts? you mean they come out onto the roads every so often? i guess thats kinda usual depending on where you live in the world though, you cant just box beasts in! theyre meant to roam free

transformative magic! at least i think thats what its called. i can make things change size and shape and weight so far, i could probably do more but i dont know what yet

Pretty much the same way we all ended up here. There are a lot of worlds out there, but it's hard to get to them unless someone decides they need you.

Did you expect Santa to be an undercover high school student?

eh! i'm sure there's bound to be a few weird people showing up at some point. it'd be interesting.

i can change objects around! i dont know everything about it yet, but so far ive been able to make things bounce around my room for a while

i didnt expect it, but he could be. theres no reason he couldnt be working as a high school student the rest of the year.

My brother's high school teacher turned out to be a secret government agent, so you never know. Maybe you're onto something.
