[Well, this is happening. He's pretty ticked off about it, but he's accepted the situation. Which means the next step is to find any allies he might have around here and gather information. Unfortunately...he's assuming this network is monitored by Astoria, so he can't exactly speak freely.]

[Which is super cryptic. But it'll be obvious once Aizawa gets there, because, like . . . there's only one centaur there.]

[Anyway, Aizawa gets out to the ring in about ten minutes, and Mikuni will find that unlike reactions he might have gotten in the past, Aizawa doesn't even do a doubletake upon seeing Mikuni. Quirks involving animal features are pretty common, after all.]

[Yeah he will not be calling you Eraserhead . . . That seems rude. He doesn't get the whole hero name thing, but even if he did, he wouldn't. Aizawa-san it is.]

[That said, he's pretty into the thing where he doesn't get gawked at. He doesn't brighten, exactly, but he does offer a slighter-more-genuine-than-usual polite smile.]

That's right. And you're Aizawa. It's a pleasure. [He cocks his head a little after a second look, blinking. Honey are you okay. Are you sleeping enough. Did you have any breakfast this morning. You look like shit, Aizawa.]

Thanks for meeting with me.

[He doesn't really do pleasantries, but the appreciation is genuine. Also listen, his face is just always like this. Tired is like a permanent condition at this point.]

How long have you been with the Circle?

[It's funny: for as pleasant as Mikuni is, as a rule, he keeps company with a wide variety of people who are incredibly rude. They make him feel at home, in a way. Politeness made him the exception to the rule back home, for the most part, and was only ever a front for the longest time. Even now, sometimes.]

[At the same time, he does like to help. Even helping humans is all right. Beggars can't be choosers, here.]

A little over a month. A friend of mine who's also here has been with the Circle for several months longer. I'm happy to relate what experiences of hers I'm familiar with, should they be helpful and relevant. What is it you need to know?

[He doesn't always intend to be rude, specifically. It's just that he doesn't care about being polite most of the time, so the latter ends up leading to the former.]

That'd be appreciated. I'm looking to gather information on Astoria, for the most part. Her intentions, her motives. How much her word can be believed.

[Oh. Well, now. That's interesting. Mikuni gives Aizawa an even look for a moment before speaking.]

Do you know, you're the first person who's expressed suspicion of her so openly? I'm surprised.

[Pleased, though, in his own quiet way. He tucks his hair behind his ear, humming softly.]

I would have to say there's very little evidence to prove or disprove her motivations so far, at least in my opinion. She's elusive. And diplomatic, in her way.

[The first one, really? In six months? He feels a flicker of agitation at that thought.]

Can't say I exactly consider a kidnapping diplomatic, though.
