[Well, this is happening. He's pretty ticked off about it, but he's accepted the situation. Which means the next step is to find any allies he might have around here and gather information. Unfortunately...he's assuming this network is monitored by Astoria, so he can't exactly speak freely.]

if you're familiar with the term 'quirk' or ua high school, contact me.

[He's already found two of his students, but if he's missed others, or his coworkers, he needs to know.]

also, if you've been with this 'circle' for awhile, i'd appreciate a chance to talk in person. i have some questions.

I prefer coffee, but tea's fine.

[Only because she's indulging his request for information, though.]

I'll be in the kitchen in ten.

[When he arrives, he'll find one of the tables occupied by Elizabeth, mugs and other such tea time equipment and two pots as well. An option for both tea and coffee isn't hard to accommodate after all.

Elizabeth herself is outfitted in a light blue blouse, tan capri slacks and with dark hair wrangled into a bun against the back of her head, though she does still seem to care enough about looks that the dark ringlets are still there to either side. She's adapted well enough to a life without a housemaid to do her hair and fancier muslin dresses have been abandoned for more plain and modern wear after the exploding fruit debacle.

She's not sure who she's looking for, given it was text and voice with no visual. She looks relaxed though and the pots ought to be signal enough, she thinks.]

[Two different pots. That's actually more than he was expecting, and it's appreciated, though not remarked upon when Aizawa arrives. For his own part, he certainly looks less put-together than Elizabeth. (In fairness, he almost never looks put-together, but this time less so than usual, considering he was all but fresh off a battlefield when he'd been taken) She'll find the man that makes his way into the kitchen is wearing nothing but a simple black shirt and pants with a utility belt at his waist and something like a large scarf around his neck. There's been no effort to do anything with his hair, honestly, it just sort of falls around his face as it will.]

[What's a proper introduction when you can just read a person's name off their comments on the network. It's the most rational way to proceed, clearly.]

[Oh now, here's someone using her last name! No Miss before it but she supposes it will have to do. It's amusing somehow to hear her last name after so long when at home it would have been an every day occurrence.]

Correct. And you are -- pardon me if I do not say this quite correctly -- Mr. Aizawa?

[She gets it more or less right. Or close to it at least, her emphasis on the 'A' likely too strong. Her accent is distinctly British though and perhaps excuses the mistake a little.]

Close enough. There's also Eraserhead or Eraser if it's easier.

[Honestly though you could call him Hey Asshole for all he cares.]

So about the Circle. What can you tell me about Astoria?

Astoria has said herself that she needs our assistance in saving other worlds. I believe she is caught here, in this sanctuary of sorts, and is unable to leave.

[She talks as she serves up her tea and his coffee.]

She was quite apologetic in her conversation with me when we first arrived. It gave me the feeling that if she could, she would wish to handle these problems on her own but could not and sought what help she saw as available to her.

[He's been talking to whoever will make time for him; the mention of being trapped here is one that's come up before, but to Aizawa, it brings up more questions than answers. Why was she trapped? How was it she could transport others, but not herself? And then there's the matter of believing Astoria, which he doesn't. It's hard to trust someone willing to kidnap children, after all.]

Why not ask for assistance, in that case? And why replace our quirks?

I asked her much the same question - with regards to asking for assistance, that is. I was told she would have if she could but that was impossible for her it seems. She cannot leave the grounds of this Sanctuary and finding the ability to draw us here seems to be all she could do. She could not communicate with us beforehand.

[Or that's what Elizabeth had taken away from their conversation.]

I am uncertain why we were given abilities or some found their own drawn away from them. I myself had no abilities before my arrival.

That sounds awfully convenient.

[Really, it seems like exactly what you'd say to pacify the people you've kidnapped.]

Why can't she leave?

She did not seem to know why she was trapped here either. She did say that what we are doing now - traversing to other worlds and rendering them aid - is what she herself did before she was trapped here.

[Elizabeth takes up her teacup.]

She stated that she wished to restore balance to the universe and that was her purpose as well. The more worlds that are content, the better it is for the universe.

[And now her brow furrows.]

She also said there was a darkness spreading. She did not know where the cause lay at that time but she hoped with our aid she could discover it.

[Convenient, again. The lack of real answers to his questions frustrates him; everything he's been hearing seems to come from a benefit of the doubt given, and he honestly can't understand where that generosity comes from. Were these people really so desperate to be Heroes that they were willing to just go along with their mysterious magical kidnapper's story without question, without skepticism? It makes him worried for them, honestly.]

What does she mean, darkness? Literal or metaphorical?
