That actually sounds pretty fun. If you swapped the pins for something else, or got enough pins, it would probably be something a lot of people here could get behind. There's not really much for electronics here, so having some kind of game that's easy to start with would be cool.

I'll look forward to it then, if you can get the game pieces together. Count me in as a potential player.

The pins had quite a special quality to them, but perhaps with the talents of people around here, it wouldn't be too hard to reconstruct them.

I'll put some thought into it. It'd be fun to get to play it again.

Think of it as extended camping, though I really do wish I could turn my phone back on. No one's had electrical powers yet though, so there isn't anyone to offer up being a generator for the rest of us electronic-deprived individuals.

Hm, of a sorts. Part of the game was a set of four different abilities allotted to each pin that would aid you in surviving or knocking off your opponents more easily.

So needless to say, they're a bit more advanced than simple fashion statements. You could certainly replicate two of them with a little bit of clever telekinesis.

Abilities on a pin? What kinds could a pin have? This sounds a lot more involved than it did initially.

Telekinesis ha, so essentially magic. Honestly, telekinesis sounds a little more on the comic book/superhero side of powers..

Yes. They're referred to as 'Whammies,' and there's four of them: Hammer, Bomber, Stinger, and Helping Hand. Hammer summons a hammer around the pin and swings around it in a circle; if it hits another pin, that pin is stunned, making it easy to knock off the edge. Bomber lets the pin fly up in the air for a moment, and divebomb back down onto another pin, with the same paralyzing effect. Stinger protects the pin by turning it into a ball littered with spikes, and-- you guessed it, if another pin runs into the spikes, it gets stunned. Helping Hand is a recover that flicks your pin back onto the arena if it falls enough.

Each whammy has a set number of uses for each pin, and they can vary in time and intensity. And they have a rock-papers-scissors effect; using a Hammer on a pin using Stinger cancels it out. Stinger will cancel out Bomber, and Bomber will cancel out Hammer.

On top of that there's even more strategy and devices can be used to take advantage of the initial launch onto the stage. But that's getting much more advanced.

Telekinesis isn't so big of a deal in comparison, is it~?

Telekinesis is quite common where I'm from~ Although I suppose that's expected with games surrounding pins that can jump in the air.

Don't worry, I'm sure I can think of something so no special powers are required. That wouldn't be very fair, after all.

There's not much else to do when we're here at the temple, unless you're an outdoorsman or like to fistfight. I think I've heard something about a fight club starting over at the training grounds?

I've spent my hours in an arcade, I'd like to think I'm pretty quick on the uptake. It sounds more fun than chasing a beast down to make a perfect cup of noodles anyway.
