It seems we're all stuck here together like one big happy family, aren't we? Since that's the case... how about we play a little game to get to know each other?
What is most important to you in your entire life? What would you be willing to do anything for? And I do mean anything~
And please, nothing like 'friendship' or 'world peace.' Really dig down deep; we should all be honest with each other, don't you think? ❤
[feel free to answer the question or not, Joshua seems to just be very bored. what a chatty nerd!]

[don't call him that.]
I'm certainly not going to go to the ends of the earth just to ask a few little questions!
But that sounds about the gist of it.
Isn't that what you'd want to ask about most, though? A question you don't even have an answer to?
no subject
No
In the first place if there's something that damn important anyone wants that badly
They should fucking go for it with no giving up anything required
no subject
A fine sentiment. But completely impractical.
Life isn't all candy and roses, you know. Sometimes sacrifices are unavoidable.
no subject
I'm not the sacrificing type how about that???
no subject
Which isn't to say you should be willing to immediately sacrifice anything, of course. But it's an unavoidable possibility.
no subject
If you're sacrificing something it means you're incapable of reaching your goal by yourself
Like hell should that be unavoidable
no subject
Is your only answer to that to keep denying it? Does denying that an earthquake can destroy a building stop it from happening? If that's the case, then you truly will never be able to climb over that wall.
no subject
Yeah well fuck that shit like that's even a comparison
If there's an earthquake you fucking rebuild
Like hell is that supposed to be a sacrifice in any way
I'm not in denial of any damn thing
I'll achieve anything my own way
no subject
Let's say there's an earthquake, and you have the power to save one of two buildings, but ONLY one. No 'oh, I'll just do my best to save both!' or anything like that. They're on opposite sides of the city, and you can only save one. They're both full of the same amount of people, and you know the one you don't save if going to be leveled to the ground with everyone inside.
You can send people to try and help out the people in the other building, of course, but it's impossible to say if you can save them all. No matter which you choose, one of them is going to fall, and someone's going to die. You can't simply reject the fact that that's going to happy. Or-- you could, but then you'll be denying the death of a loved one of someone who's friends or family are in the other people.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't try. And maybe people helping you can still save most of the people in the other building, but the building is still gone. It can contain someone's home, or their livelihood. Something is still lost.
Of course, it's obviously better to sacrifice one building than to not save either of them at all. You see what I mean?

Look asshole you can spew shit about hypotheticals all you want
Still a fucking flawed argument because if that disastrous shit happens? IT FUCKING HAPPENS
Choosing one option over the other doesn't mean you sacrifice the other
Saving one group of people over the other doesn't mean you sacrifice the other unfortunate bastards
It means doing what you must with all the power that you have
Sacrifice means giving something up you'd rather keep, it means regret, it means trading something you'd rather not to achieve victory
If I'm giving up ANYTHING I'm not going to regret a damn thing because whatever it is better be fucking worth it or else I'm not gonna give a damn
In that case it's not going to be sacrifice
It's just gonna be one more step to victory

I suppose you could simply call it 'collateral damage.'
What if it was the same, but one of you friend's was in one building, and another was in the other?
I wonder what it must be like, living in such a simple-minded world? I could almost envy you if you weren't so... well, you.
no subject
I literally fucking just said choosing one over the other isn't a sacrifice
And it literally can't be collateral fucking damage if I'm not the one dealing the damage
You can make all the wild ass what-if choices if you want to bullshit all you want without making a decent argument
Guess you'd be envious of me if you literally can't fucking read and I can
