If they're the kind of players who need to be told what sorts of actions are and aren't relevant to the campaign, then they're probably just looking for a quick thrill at the expense of my time and have absolutely no intention of sticking around for the long term anyway... and to tell you the truth, players like that are of no real loss to me.
