Hello?
It looks like tech, but it's apparently magic. That's a new one, even for me. Although the past few days have been nothing BUT "new ones" so I suppose I should just get used to that. Not the point here, let me get to it.
My name's Carmen. I came in with the festival I guess. I'm currently hanging out at the Fighting Ring and was curious if there was anyone who also wanted to blow off some steam or at least work off some of that food.
If not, I guess I'll be giving these dummies a beat down.
[There's a pause and then quickly adds.]
Oh. Or I guess I could finally try to figure out this ability I was supposedly given. After everything else I've seen and heard that one might be the least strange. Unfortunately, I can't test my ability without some help. If you're interested let me know. It could be interesting for the both of us.

She was handy with her knife, held close to her as safe as she could. It was much easier when she could just summon it, but alas. All she wanted to do was see how far she could go like this. ]
Well... something normal, for a little bit. Maybe learning how to use this thing without hurting someone too badly?
[ She. Hadn't really considered how dangerous a knife could really be against a living thing, as opposed to assorted monsters. ]

Well, we can work on offense or defense. If you are wanting to learn how to not hurt someone too bad we could talk about how to target places that are crippling...maybe work with a knife that's sheathed so we don't go stabbing each other.
If you want to work on defense we could talk about how to disarm someone who has a knife. I'm honestly probably better at the second one, but I've had training in the first as well.
[Weapons had never really been her style at VILE though. At the time she hadn't put together the fact that they were being train to potentially neutralize witnesses with whatever might be available. She'd only ever been interested in getting the prize and getting out, not fighting and especially not killing. Avoiding a fight was her preference. ]
