But remember, all humanoid species are not the same, and differing biology may not be apparent on the surface. Before interacting...intimately with the local populace, take appropriate prophylactic precautions. Just because you appear biocompatible doesn't mean you have the same immunities, resistances, and biome.

No, I have experience treating a wide variety of species, humanoid and not. Usually with the help of appropriate guidebooks, but as long as I can figure out where the major organs are and eliminate the possibility of accidental poisoning, we can improvise.

I come from a place where humans and many other species have developed space travel and formed a mostly peaceful intergalactic Alliance. My clinic is on a large space station that functions as a travel waypoint, amongst other things.

I was once a human, but turned into another lifeform via introduction of a virus. I am not quite sure what I am now, but it can be summarized as some form of cellular hivemind organism.

I admit that I am somewhat interested in finding out more about my condition, so if you are willing to lend me some of your expertise, I would repay the effort with what I can.

That would definitely be something new to my experience, and I don't have the equipment here that I did in the clinic. But we can certainly investigate your current condition with less technologically advanced methods.
