Anyone feeling a little...strange recently? Perhaps a bit normal?

[He's weedling for answers and not being subtle about it, no apologies ever. Not when he can feel his Light racing through his veins in sharp pulses. The start and stop nature of it, and what Astoria had said previously about the temple itself, is equal parts comforting and horrifying. One moment he feels alive and the next nothing, back to nothing more than a dulled machine.]

I know our lovely lady in the sky supposedly gave us all magic, I don't know I've only seen it, but I mean. Anyone feeling a little bit more like themselves then they have in a while?

I mean, a gamble means there's always a chance they work, right? I like to think of myself as a betting man, and what's the point of havin' them back if you're not using 'em?

[Of course there could be no consequences, of course.]

Perhaps, but there's also a chance that they'll fail at some crucial moment, too... in my case, at least,, it's really just a matter of whether the gains at stake are worth that chance.

Though of course, that sort of situation could be avoided altogether by saving your powers for less crucial moments as well.

That all depends on the situation in question, and since I've only been here for so long, that's going to be a tough judgment call to make until something actually happens, at least until I've familiarized myself with what to expect from this place a little more...

However, it sounds like you've spent quite a bit of time here already, possibly even more than I have... how big would you say the risks are?

Depends on what you consider a risk. Around here? I think the worst I've ever seen was a damn pixie trying to shove flowers into some of my joints. We don't always stay here though so hell if I know about the factors in other worlds. Last one would have been a lot nicer with my Light though, I'll tell you that.

I see... in other words, there's less risk in trying out your powers in this place than elsewhere even if they're inconsistent because the results are more predictable.

If that's truly the case, then I suppose I can reconsider it.

Oh totally. Like, you're a lot less likely to get struck by lightning and killed here. At least I think so. Haven't seen any killer thunderstorms yet.

Neat. Can you make sure to do the whole spooky ghost thing too? Like 'oooOOoOOoOo' or something like that? Maybe some chains rattling? I want the full ghost experience.
