Anyone feeling a little...strange recently? Perhaps a bit normal?

The start and stop nature of it, and what Astoria had said previously about the temple itself, is equal parts comforting and horrifying. One moment he feels alive and the next nothing, back to nothing more than a dulled machine.]

I know our lovely lady in the sky supposedly gave us all magic, I don't know I've only seen it, but I mean. Anyone feeling a little bit more like themselves then they have in a while?

Yeah, whatever was jamming my magic before appears to have weakened for the time being. However, it still occasionally comes back in full force, too, interfering just as it had a few weeks earlier.

[ It's inconsistent enough for him to hold back on unleashing the Shadow Magic he already sorely misses lest the interference return at the most inconvenient possible time, and that in turn poses too much of a risk to the body he's now dependent on for survival. ]

Jamming, huh? Like, cut off completely or just really annoying? Because there's a huge difference. And it's getting inconvenient.

Cut off completely... though at this rate, there almost is no difference. Any powers we might have originally had are just as useless if they can only be used intermittently as when they were blocked in their entirety. Using them feels like too much of a gamble at the moment.

It's hard to be excited about something like this when we don't know what's causing it. If something's breaking out there, I don't know if that's gonna be good or bad in the long run.

Yes. But as others have mentioned, it’s only intermittently. And there’s no pattern to when or how this happens.

Conversely, the power given to me upon my arrival seems to fluctuate just as badly.

Dude, yeah. I showed up here sick as a dog but then one day I woke up feeling more like myself than I had in weeks. Not to mention some of my usual magic and equipment started working. That was a relief.

I just wonder if it's gonna stay that way.
