According to Astoria she loses connection with us. You've probably heard that by now.

There's no telling if that's true or not. But, something does take some of us home then bring us back over the course of a night or more. She doesn't know what or who is responsible for that.

Those that experience that return from later in their universe's timeline.

But doesn't that also mean her connection is the thing holding us here? I'm not saying I don't want to help but it just seems a little strange.

She told me the temple and her together make the call that brings us to her. It's possible just she holds our connection.

...But it's possible the temple also holds a portion of it. If that's correct.

well look at it this way if u let ur personal shit pile up its gonna change the way u do ur job. take it from me. like yeh technically u got 2 focus on the case or the magic bs or whatever but u got 2 take care of u b4 u can do that. they dont teach u that in hero school? how 2 avoid burnout n all that shit?

It seems like most of the people here have heard people go home, though. And if Astoria is to be trusted, then our friends and family are safe in our absence.

I do believe that she has good intentions, it just seems like she's left us in the dark on some things that really matter.

We can both ask her next time we return to the temple. It’s a question more than worth asking. I did put it to her to consider asking anyone she calls. They deserve the right of a choice and the knowledge of what they’re choosing.
