It seems like most of the people here have heard people go home, though. And if Astoria is to be trusted, then our friends and family are safe in our absence.
You are not the only one, though, who has doubts. I am not sure if that is any comfort.

[ to put it bluntly. inej is usually a little more reserved, but it is frustrating, to be trapped in a situation like this with no guidance whatsoever. ]
The people in the Circle themselves, at least, seem to be reliable. We can at least count on each other, for the most part. That much is encouraging.

Everyone around here though is definitely reliable. We're so far from home, it's good to have people we can trust.
