Do they make it back home or... something else? It doesn't seem to make much sense.

Yeah I was wondering the same. How we get chosen to come here at all. Seems pretty fishy.

It doesn't make sense. How can this place take people from their homes and back again. Not to mention there are people here who can never go back home.

I don't know. Miss Astoria seems to be both powerful and yet powerless at the same time when it comes to this. I don't know if she's inexperienced or just getting lucky sometimes.
