[ Yugi has spend a few days trying to figure this whole scenario out. While he's used to random acts of magical abduction (or body-snatching, if you will), this was something entirely different. He decided to make some outreach to those who have been here longer, or maybe someone who could better answer this questions: ]

i realize this may be slightly familiar. new people always have the most questions, right? i am a little concerned about the..magical part of this? that may be a little too broad...

[ Yugi didn't post anything after that for a bit, before finally editing what he had originally put.. ]

i'm sorry. i wanted to ask how do we understand these...powers? but also, what is the point of bringing us here. i would like to see if anyone is...well, if they are have spoken to astoria?

[ Yugi has some concerns as he just had to deal with a magical group of kids who could mess with time and space...]

Skepticism is normal.

I've spoken to her four times since I got here four months ago. She brought us here to help her with her job, which is to help people in other worlds by preventing catastrophes and maintaining balance in the universe.

If you have any specific questions about her, I'll answer to the best of my ability.

What exactly happened back home?

oh, it's alright! these things happen, honestly.

[ He leaves out the "to me" part. Apparently being a vessel for a long dead pharaoh makes you a hot commodity in the magical realms. Or with just billionaires with something to prove... ]

long story short, someone fabricated their existence into our lives for the purpose of killing my friend.

that's the best way to put it honestly. it did help my friend move on from losing someone dear to him, though...i think.

well, kaiba-kun is a little bit of a weird guy. he doesn't express much but i think it helped him.

as for my other friends, bakura-kun...it brought up a lot of stuff from his past, but he's doing better.

Aaaaas long as everyone is doing okay and no one died, then I guess the whole experience was a net positive.

as cheesy as it is...yeah. my friends and i have been through a lot so...it is a pretty powerful thing.

Sounds like it, if some guy fabricating his existence into your lives for the sole purpose of killing one of your friends is a run-of-the-mill thing.

atem is my good friend, we have been through a lot together. i'm happy he's here. plus my friend jonouchi-kun!!

Oh. That's good. That'll help with the homesickness, if you are the type to get homesick.

i think everyone has that potential, depending on what they consider home! but yes, it will! especially since i haven't been able to talk to atem in awhile.

Yep. Three good friends that I went to school with. Two of them are in my year, and one of them is my senpai.

that's good! i mean, i think being away from home makes it easier when you have someone you know. especially when it's a situation like this.

Adaptation is a strength. Having support makes adaptation easier.
