[ Yugi has spend a few days trying to figure this whole scenario out. While he's used to random acts of magical abduction (or body-snatching, if you will), this was something entirely different. He decided to make some outreach to those who have been here longer, or maybe someone who could better answer this questions: ]

i realize this may be slightly familiar. new people always have the most questions, right? i am a little concerned about the..magical part of this? that may be a little too broad...

i'm sorry. i wanted to ask how do we understand these...powers? but also, what is the point of bringing us here. i would like to see if anyone is...well, if they are have spoken to astoria?

[ Yugi has some concerns as he just had to deal with a magical group of kids who could mess with time and space...]

I've spoken with her. A lot of us from early on have. She seems nice enough, I guess? Ditzy, a little. Well-meaning, but not necessarily the sort of person you want to control your fate in a cross-dimensional way, if that makes sense.

not something to exact. the person i had to deal with had similar powers though, and attempted to create the end of the world.

I've spoken to her four times since I got here four months ago. She brought us here to help her with her job, which is to help people in other worlds by preventing catastrophes and maintaining balance in the universe.

If you have any specific questions about her, I'll answer to the best of my ability.

well...i am not completely sure. my friend is able to summon a small form of a card back home, and i imitated it for a little while. i haven’t had the chance to test it beyond that.

Thanks for asking these things because I'm wondering all the same things. It's not everyday that I'm whisked off to some random other world... While I don't mind helping people it would be nice if there was some sort of in-depth guidebook or an introduction briefing!

im relieved! i was worried that t would be a little too much of the same thing. i just have some negative experiences with this type of magic, so i would like to make sure my friends are protected.

I've been trying to figure out those same things. I haven't had a chance to talk to Astoria yet, but I hear she's very friendly.

i think i can imitate powers...i haven’t really tried it beyond imitating my friend...

You can mimic other people's abilities? That's incredible!
Sounds like you need some opportunities to practice it to be sure.

I don't have many answers, but I don't appreciate having my usual abilities messed with.

Also, be careful if you do speak to this Astoria. Talking with witches tends to come with a price.

ah. so you are from a place with magic?

I am. At least, there's been magic since the shift, which happened quite a ways before I was born. The magic on Earth currently is very different than the magic here, though.

Is there magic where you're from?

Astoria's nice, if a little difficult to pin down sometimes! You could always try your luck, i don't think she's like, going out of her way to hide things.
