Well first they tried to recruit me?
Because a god was talking to me and was in my head
And then a guy shot me so I went back and another guy tried to kill me
So yeah it was self defense but if I could have I wouldn't have let them do it!

Cults are bad news every time, don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.
I would definitely count that as self defense, too.
